Always looking for HIGH QUALITY TOMBSTONES. Seen most of them out there from the halloween sites, but looking for some serious custom work. Anybody have any leads? I've purchased most of my stuff (including custom stones) from Hauntedheadstones.com and Scarytombstones.com, and i'm very happy with them. Just looking for some others.

I just went on hauntedheadstones, and you're right, it won't come up. I thought he might be going out of business, as I called him last year, and he never responded to me. He has made incredible stones for me out of solid wood. Some are close to six feet tall, and weigh in at 100+ pounds!!!
Scarytombstones is a great place to deal with, and I believe his prices are reasonable. The guy's name is Trace Shuttleworth, and he is a cool guy to talk to. I'm sure he's probably on this site often. Just give him a call and tell him what you want. He'll pretty much do anything you want. He's also working on some new stuff for this year that hasn't hit his website yet. I'm going to try and upload some of my pictures, so you can get an idea of what this stuff looks like.
For the record, my graveyard currently consists of 44 stones...trying to work my way up to 100!

I placed an order with him about two weeks before halloween last year, and I got within a week (and it was custom inscribed). Trace is a great guy, and really into Halloween! he just recently made a mausoleum for someone. I'm gettign 5 or six of those light hiding stones this year, and i'm having him make some custom stones for me as well. This stuff is going to be like 8-10 inches thick and stand 6-7 feet tall. He says he could do just about anything.

Here's some older pics of my graveyard. No pics from 2007, but I now have 44 stones, working my way up to 100

Awesome-very realistic looking!
Hmmmm.....I may be contacting Trace myself. Thanks for sharing! You remind me of the babe. What babe? The babe with the power. What power? The power of voodoo. Who do? You do. Do what?
Remind me of the babe.

That's what I'm talkin' about, Kristian. That's how it's suppose to be done. I'm hoping to have an equally real-to-life cemetery this year. I'm also going to bring in a bunch of 7-8 foot dead trees and brush from the woods near my house and plant them among the tombstones for some added age. And I'm turning my house into an old, abandoned chapel. Looks great.

Thanks for the compliments! The pictures posted do not have any of Trace's (scarytombstones) there. The bigger white ones are from Hauntedheadstones. I'm really trying to go for that authentic look, as I have the stones placed somewhat properly apart, and I dont have too many props in the graveyard. Actually, at this point, I would rather not have any props in it, but I have a few 'dead guys' that I had purchased when i first started decorating. I feel obligated to use them since I spent decent cash on them.
Also, I do agree: using old brush, dead trees, etc. does make it look like the graveyards been ther a long time! I wish I could take pictures at night, as the fog and lightening really add to the spookiness. To me, the best part of Halloween is when people are so scared, they won't even come up my driveway. Its the only time I like hearing a kid cry!!!Whatta ya mean "no blood pressure, no pulse?"
