I was wondering if anyone has made flooring?

I would like to do a mausoleum with flooring that looks like stone and be able to handle foot traffic. Any Ideas?

That's a thought. More painting though to make it look like stone. Is there a clear sealer that would stand up to foot traffic?

Also, I came across this writeup on a set for pbs:

    http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/gormenghast/...corridors.html

"The stone floor slabs throughout the castle are actually made of flooring felt, layered with latex, and cut into shapes of pieces of stone modeled on Nepali or Tibetan floors."

    ..Sounds interesting

Maybe consider vinyl flooring or sheet vinyl, I know that stuff comes in a variety of stone like finishes.

I would just go for the stone slab looking flooring at lowes/HD, Cut it up into pieces, lay em out, and after you attach them, rub in some dirt/sand to get rid of the plastic shiny look You could also use MATTE clear to de shiny it as well
