I purchased a Haunted House in a Box (HHIB) but I'm not sure what type of speakers or setup to use. Does nayone have any experience with this? If so, what setup did you use? Thanks

I used wireless speakers. I plugged the transmitter into the jack and used speakers thru out.
I bought some simple RCA speakers that can be ac or dc, and I love them. During the rest of the year, we have stereo all around the house.
Your results may vary, but I easily had enough range.

These are what I use, I have 2 sets and you can play from both transmitters or have all speakers pick up on one unit.
3 channels are available.

How was the sound? Was it loud enough for an outdoor haunt?
Thanks

I use outdoor speakers that look like a tree stump. I use a $100 receiver that goes from the brain to the rc jack.

How many watts are the speakers you guys are using?

The speakers are plenty loud, in fact I turned them way down so it was more ambient and less annoying. The cool thing about the speakers is they have individual volume and bass control, too... so you can make one area louder than the other.
I have no idea about the wattage. I'd look for you, but I'm a couple hours away. ;-)

I used powered computer speakers with a sub- plenty loud
If it has 2 heads- it will eat you twice as fast!
