    Hello Haunters,

Does anyone know of a good source for an inexpensive Repeat Cycle Timer? I only seem to find bigger ones with multiple connections/applications and pretty pricey. Just looking for a 'smaller' one to run one prop that is under about $25-30.

    Happy haunting. Thanks in advance

Try this one from Fright Props. I'm thinking about buying this for one of my props:

I found this one when I did a search:

I am going to order one, as I need something to turn a shaker motor on and off continuously.

Are you looking to have a prop fire once, then wait for the next victim? Or do you want the prop/effect to continuously cycle?

What exactly are you looking to turn on and off? Lights? Motors? Size? Voltage? Amperage?

Have you looked at the Picoboo controllers? I picked one up last year and like it alot. Different versions (103, 104 and 105) and different price points ($69-$99). It may be outside what you had budgeted but it might be worth taking a look at.

Here is a link to where I bought mine: http://www.monsterguts.com/prop-cont...3/prod_47.html

Thanks for your posts! The prop I am looking to use this for is the floating candelabra from MonsterList. I saw the video and thought it looked awesome and very imaginative. Kudos to Ghost-Songs! My thought is to convert my carport (which the TOT's have to walk up to and past) into an old dinning room scene with that as the centerpiece floating over the table.

This timer will be to power the small fan in short but different on/off set intervals to create the appearently random movement of the candelabra.

Both links have a product I think I can use for '08! I think the electronickits.com is what I need for this prop (thanks Bradbaum!) and the Picaboo controller (thanks Gibber!) will work for my guy in the ground which I wanted to get animated this year.

Our Prop-1 will let you do randomized things -- that's one of the functions we use all the time in prop control.
