I plan on making 2 talking skulls for my haunt. I hope to make one that will be the full blown 3 axis skull. The other one, I just need it to be 1 or 2 axis. I've got a lot of great info about the 3 axis skulls here, but can't find any info on how to make a 1 or 2 axis. Hopefully it will be a little simpler. I was getting ready to cut the plexiglass for the 3 axis and would like to cut the plexiglass for the other skull at the same time. Does anyone have any links or tips on how to make a 1 or 2 axis?

    Thanks
    ChiliPete

do every thing the same, but just leave out the extra servos not needed. just in case you want to (in the future) make the 1 or 2 axis skull a 3 axis

EveilEyes, that wont work as the skull would still tilt and nothing would make it straighten up. What you will need is a pan/nod bracket. Lynxmotion has them for $10/ea, but you could very well make them yourself. Here is the Lynx bracket
