I just bought my 5th (see photo). I already had two open toe-pincers, 1 large, insulated "coffin cooler", and 1 ready-to-animate lidded casket.

The one in the photo is not the exact one I just bought, but VERY close. Different handles.

Technically, this is my 6th. I bought one at a rummage sale a couple of years ago, but later disassembled it.

O.K. I don't have one realy coffin So How much do these things go for? If you have six you must have invested quite a bit huh?? I'm not sure I could afford one and where do you guys keep all of these coffins. I mean its not like they collaps like the cardboard ones
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

A real hard wood one like the one I'm getting goes for about $ 3,500. But others can be around $500 or so. Just do what I did and search for local funeral homes online and they should have a type of casket catalog so to speak. They usually have a picture and the price for the casket. Lucky for me mine was donated and I didn't have to spend a dime. Also sometimes funeral homes will have caskets that have defaults like cracks or wrong orders that you can purchase for a bit cheaper. Sure caskets don't fold up into storage but hay, you can store props in them. Its kinda like a twofer!

Could be a 3fer when it's your time to go, why not customize it while you've got the chance.

I've heard that the big box stores are thinking (trying ) to get into selling coffins. That would really force the prices down.

When I go, I want a plain old pine box
