I have got a notebook full of ideas, sketches, and layouts of props that I want to make. I am going insane...I think I will have to ban myself from the forum intill I get some of these made. Every time I logon I see something else I want to try.

How do you guys and gals pace yourself? I try to finish one prop at a time but while I'm waiting for something like a part or time to dry I start on something else. How do you guys do it?

Do you give yourself deadlines or what?

How do you decide what prop gets made first?

Oh yeah, I am a noob at prop building so will I out grow ADD?

ummmmmmm......... i can't help you cause i have that same problem .... but i can say that while i'm waiting for a prop part i do start on something LESS important so you can stop doing it, and as soon as the part comes in you stop the less important one and finish the other one

Same problem here... I just started my 3rd unfinished project this year alone. While I'm letting my tombstones dry, and waiting on staining my coffin, and still not completing my mache mask...i went ahead and started building my cemetery fence and pillars...

I figure (hope) that if more than 1 project started, it's less likely to monopolize my time and I'll be bound to get something done.

My only deadline is Halloween...which one is anyone's guess...lol

Like evileyes said...stay to a point where if you actually are at a stopping point on your biggest job, if you start another one...make it a priority to drop it and finish the big one.
