I was browsing the oriental trading site and saw this motor:

It looks like a decent deal, marked down form $25 to $8. Probably not very strong though. Has anyone used it?

I bought a 2-pack of those motors from Party City last Halloween. I didn't end up using them, but they seemed to work well. Plus they only use one "D" battery.
I think I paid around $12 for the pair and even saw them on sale for less AFTER I bought mine.
So if you have a Party City nearby, you might find them there next fall for less $$ than OTC.

I know it's a little late, but you can find them in a lot of stores that have halloween props during October. They're cheap, lightweight, and can hold up to 10 pounds, i think. Mine is like the one in the picture. It has a cord with an adapter, but the one bad thing is that mine is really loud. So, theyre pretty nice if you dont want a little noise.
