I am currently building (for fireworks) a wireless electronic firing system. Basically I have a transmitter with momentary switches that activate a reciever with a 12 volt battery. The recieving module sends the voltage down a pair of wires which sets off the firework.
Wouldn't that setup also work for a simple haunt controller? And if so what would you hook up to it? I mean anything with a wiper motor should work, being it is setup for DC already. Maybe some LED lights. Anything else spring to mind?
thanks for your time.

Would work for anything you want to power at that voltage. You could trigger a prop using the wiper motor as stated, noise maker (siren) or maybe a battery powered blower. Something momentary since you are on portable juice.

Same approach was used here (modified with a key banger):

Yep, same board and everything. One thing I did was use 3 channels to control the negative and then 8 that controlled the positive so I got 3X8 total outputs. (I know that is only 11 channels but with Fireworks it is good to have a saftey
).
Sweet thanks for the ideas a horn would be a blast.Later
