You can use the prop 1 to control hundreds of devices if setup correctly, everything from 5v servo's, to 120volt pnuematic valves or lights

The software requires basic programming skills to get main functions turning on and off. The forums over at Parallex and EfTek provided me with GREAT help learning how to get started in programming!

We are always happy to help with the Prop-1 and I (the infamous JonnyMac) will write a program for you to get you going. You just have to know what you want the program to do. Custom prop programming is not as hard as some would have you think, it's just a new skill and once you get past the new part it is a really a whole bunch of fun -- especially when you can take what are otherwise off-the-shelf props and completely customize them.

Here's an easy-to-remember link for our tech support Q&A forums: support.efx-tek.com

To answer your question specifically, yes, you can control multiple simultaneous outputs with the Prop-1. It has eight I/O (input/output) points; a typical prop program will use one for a trigger, one for initiating sound, and the other six for valves, relays, lights, etc. We also have expansion devices. Our RC-4, for example, let's the Prop-1 control four solid-state relays (no mechanical clanking) relays with just one pin; and as with our other products, the RC-4 can be "networked" on that pin to give a total of 16 relays using just one Prop-1 I/O point.

Yes, the possibilities can seem overwhelming... don't let this throw you, there's no need to feel restricted any more. Just figure out what you want to do and we'll work with you to select and integrate components (from our catalog and others if necessary) to get the job done.
