    New this year, I'm sculpting Grave Yard Angels for tombstones or Cemetery post Columns for the graveyard ..I still have to finish the wings and detail the hands.
    I'm going to cover the alum foil with clay so I will be able to sculpt the feathers in.
    She will be made of hard foam and she sits on a 4" ball topper.

    Thank you NT I'm glad you like her . I will be selling her on my website.
    I still have some smoothing to do and some detail work , but here are some updated pics

    I think I will make The final cast in resin so her feet and hands will not break off and spray her with some flex paint so she looks like Granite or some type of stone. For the Cemetery posts and like Marble for the tombstones ?

    Wow blinky , it looks beautiful , awsome job...but all your things look great

    ....you make me want to get out my old clay and sculpt , havent sculpted in 3 years (never did for halloween stuff ) , i just am not equiped and wouldnt know how to cast a mold after that and work with latex.....i was use to sculpt in clay , then paint it , then kiln fire then glazed and fire again, so was heavy and breakable pieces

    Thank you WFC when I was a kid I use to mess around with sculpting a making stuff and firing it. I guess It is now a carry over,lol

    If you want to learn how to do molds On my website in the Grinch tutorial I have a How to do the molds tut, and I can always give you more help if you need it. the important thing is to remember not to have deep undercuts in your sculpt so you dont get mold lock.
    this sculpt I'm doing now will be a 3 piece mold then put together as the final product.sections are arms,body,and wings for this very reason. Mold Lock..

    She's pretty, Blinky. I had a resin angel that I added horns and a pointed tail to and painted like stone. I put her on a pedestal in the cemetery. I accidently dropped her and she shattered. I was bummed and resolved to look for a new one. Instead, I put her below the pedestal and scatter her around like vandals got to her. Everyone agrees that she looks better and more realistic on the ground than on the pedestal.

    I have been working on her wings here is the backside of them:

    I knew if I set her down long enough she would fly off;

    Maybe I shouldn't have given her wings,lol
