    Hello all

I have been lurking in the shadows for a few months now and decided
    to come into the light.

I wanted to get your opinion on my new urn prop. It is about 29" tall and about20" wide at the top and 8" wide at base. I just got done putting primer on it last night.

Plans for it includes fake flames...A Fog mister...maybe l.e.d. lights in each skulls eyes. What do you think?

Might make a mold of it so I can make many.

    Oh, yea...this forum ROCKS!!!!!

That's a pretty impressive urn. What did you use to make the skulls?

The skulls are the cheap foam ones from biglots. I have some skull molds but didn't have any 2 part foam so I used these.

I woke up with this idea in my head one late night and could'nt
go back to sleep so off to wally world I went. I could not believe how many people shop at 2:00 in the morning.

I took some pics of my original idea but changed it after talking to somebody about making a mold for it. (to many undercuts and so forth) I will post those pics as soon as I am allowed to post pics. I think it looks better and is easier to make than this one.

Once I cast these I was thinking of corpsing the skulls of some and aging the skulls of some.
Make some look like stone sculptures and others look like wood urns with metal bands.

    Any ideas would be great.

Great idea! Love to have one! I would though age it with some stain.

    Ban Trunk or Treat!

Nice, voodoo willy! Maybe have flames in the center, mister around it. Kinda like those fancy water/fire features like in folks' backyards on the home improvement shows?

Very nice. It would look just fine with an arrangement of dead flowers.
