Okay, so many or most of you live where you have snow every winter. Here, we get it once every decade. We had a few cold nights last week so I decided to build a snow gun from parts in my Mad Lab.

Next year, I am going to upgrade it to a 3-nozzle oscillating setup using my big ole' pressure washer and a bigger air compressor.

My setup for this was simply some 1/4" fittings, a couple valves and a garden hose connector. Set the air to match the water pressure, and bam... you are making snow. (there's more to it, obviously, but that's the quick version).

I modified it from this version slightly by putting on a 40 degree pressure washer nozzle. I also moved the regulator back to the compressor to keep it from freezing.

This is what it made with about 4-6 hours of work. A pressure washer/3 nozzle setup would have made a giant pile.

So, I have a new hobby for the 6 nights per year we get that are cold enough to make snow. ;-)
