This topic has changed since it's original posting,
    UPDATE:

Some good news and bad news. I think that I will be going a different route with the sub-categories and utilize a new feature that the author of this script will be releasing in the future (they have not yet announced the release date).

This will be an additional way to organize posts and threads with a forum category.

This solution will give us the best of both worlds...but there will be a delay until it is released.

Thanks very much for your assistance!!

    ORIGINAL POST:
We need to break-up the PROP section into different sections in order to organize things a little better.

For instance, a sub-section of Animitronics etc.

It is VERY important that we do not have too many sub-sections or there will be a lot of posting in the wrong sections.

    Let's discuss sub-sections here.

    What do you think?

I agree Larry, an excellent idea. Maybe a "techno" sub-section covering animation, automation, and general electronics. Perhaps also adding a "showplace" sub-topic?
I don't want to just scare them... I want to mess them up for life!

Ditto, Larry. I would definitely like to have a tech section. Most of my posts fall into that category.
    I...have many names...

I agree...great idea! If techo is too big...it could always be Pneumatic and Electric since those seem to have the most amount of questions. I like the showplace idea as well!

    How about:

    Showplace
    Animatronics
    Electrical
    Pneumatics

...with everything else remaining in the main Prop forum?
