Okay my fellow Ghouls and Ghoul’ets I need some advice on my Mausoleum prop. Unfortunately the past couple years since I built my house of the dead it’s taken a major beating from the elements and needs a major rehab. Originally I attached the foam board siding to the wooden frame with staples using my air gun, over time this has proven not to be the best choice. What I would like to do is glue the siding on the wooden frame and my question to my fellow spooksters is what type of glue would you use? So far I’ve tried Liquid Nails construction adhesive and found this product less then ideal.

Try Gorilla Glue. Holds really strong and it's waterproof. Shouldn't harm the foam or anything either.
Feels like...somebody just walked over my grave. Did you find it?

On my foam/wood walls, I use Liquid Nails heavy duty construction adhesive and have had no problems. Are you gluing the foam just on the frame edges? I have three panels framed up with 2x4's. I then cover these with a 4' x 8' sheet of 1/8" mason board, giving me a large surface area to glue the foam to. Haven't had any problems yet.

I built some columns out of a 2x2 frame and glued the foam to the 2x2's, this is there second year and working great. I used the Foam board adhesive that comes in a tube and tacked it with a few nails to hold it while the glue set (which takes a few days)

You also might try those nails with the plastic washer that are used to hold down roofing felt. They should hold very well except you will see them as the washers are large.

Thanks for the suggestions! Never thought of Gorrilla Glue and I will have to check into foam board adhesive, which I guess you can find in the paint department of your local home improvement store? As for my mausoleum frame its made of 1x2's with the foam board against the 1" edge of the board. I wanted to make the building light enough that one person can screw it together or take it apart which I succeeded in doing.
