I was browsing Ebay and found a seller putting up a bunch of pneumatic cylinders...they were starting at $10 each, so I threw in a bid on three 12 inch, a 23 inch and two 25 inch...won them all at $10 each... The boss is sooo going to kill me when these arrive in the mail.... I now have 364 days to figure out what to do with them...

    Cheers,
    Kerry

It is a sickness. This year I was only going to buy the Gemmy Zultan and the Lemax village through Michael's... yeah, right. A few thousand later...

When they arrive... be sure you are the one to get them first, then take them to the garage, unpack them, smear some grease on them, shove them on the back of the workbench, dispose of all packaging/price tags and then bring them out a week or so later. When she asks if they are new you just say... no, I've had them for a couple of years, but forgot I had them and just found them today, cool, huh?

You know, the same thing us women do when we bring home new clothes/shoes/whatever that you guys don't want us to buy.

The dragon is a cool idea. I have been mulling a large pirate ship that would come off of my porch, balanced at the bottom so it could lurch toward the sidewalk....the cylinders I have coming are all at least an inch and a half diameter, and this year I ran at 75 psi, so I have a fair bit of force avaiable.... so much fun to ponder these things...

With the 2 long ones, you could make a Trash Can Trauma, and a Simple Pop(straight)Up. The others, you could use 1 to make a coffin sitter mechanism, 1 to lift the lid open. Another 12" one could be used for a 4 bar mechanism for a Tombstone Pop Up. I could go on and on but the idea's are endless........

    Trash Can Trauma- http://www.deathlord.net/TrashCanTrauma/trauma.htm
(i would swap the bicycle pump with a 25" cylinder)

PopUp - http://www.vilethings.com/simple_pop...troduction.htm (same thing here. I would swap the pvc for the real cylinder)

    Tombstone Jumper - http://www.employees.org/~joestone/H...ravejumper.htm

    Coffin Pop Up - http://www.scary-terry.com/kitsinkco...sinkcoffin.htm
