I remember some earlier threads asking about how to keep dummies upright, even with high winds and drunk partiers. Well, in the photo below, Captain Cuervo posed with hundreds of partiers, several of whom got a little frisky with him, and he stood tall all night. The secret? That innocent-looking crate he has his foot on is actually a 100 pound block of cement with some 3/4" PVC imbedded in it, which was then attached to the good captain at his knee. To make the crate, I simply took a small cardboard box, covered it in contact paper, cut a 1" hole in it, flipped it over, inserted a scrap piece of PVC (later removed to make way for the longer piece) and added a bag & a half of ready-mix cement (half-bag at a time to allow for better curing and less bulge to the sides of the box).

I lov ur prop and how u got him to stay up. I used rocks that outline my house and put them on my props. It was dark so u couldnt see them. That held them up as well.
