Default How do you make these eyes flash?

I bought the Dead Donna prop from Spencers and there was another head in the box too. I would like to try and make the eyes flash. I'm not even going to pretend to know what I'm asking, but is there an easy modification to make these flash? I was thinking something could be spliced into one of those wires.

ANY/ALL help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

I strongly reccomend a 555 circuit you can build one for a couple of $$, its a great introduction to build it yourself electronics

AllElectronics has flashers, too. They all flash at different rates, though. If you need them to flash at the same time, then Phoenix's idea is the way to go. An astable 555 circuit is really quite easy to build. Here's a good place to see how to do it:

Scroll down to the "Basic Astable Oscillator Circuit".

Nice price. The description says they oscillate - does this mean that they blink alternately, or at the same time? The pic looks like they're wired to blink together.

Great find NTIS! Thats a much better price than what I've been paying one-bay. Thanks for sharing.

Surely if they were wired to blink together then they would be wired in series. my guess is they alternate, if you read the description they mention level crossing lights, these usually alternate.

Thanks, Phoenix - I missed the model railroad reference. I'm sure you're right about the blink.
