I bought one a few years ago. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact the speaker wires are not very long. Other than that, it rocks.

The lighting in my haunt is weak also, so I'm going to experiment this Halloween with a "Mr. Christmas" Light Controller I bought from QVC.

It's really made for having your Xmas lights dance/flash rhythmically to the beat of 20 Christmas carols with the sound coming from an on-board speaker. I was going to disconnect the speaker anyway in order to hook it to an FM transmitter for Xmas use. I want to play with it to see what kind of flashing sequences it can produce in my yard haunt and try to make it useful for Halloween also. It has 6 outlets on it and each outlet can handle 1,200 mini-lights, 7,200 total. (I think the whole unit can handle 15 amps max.) It can be set for each outlet to respond to different beats of music or set where all the outlets flash at the same time to the music. With the speaker removed who's to know the lights are flashing to "God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen"?
I also want to see if some of my props and sound boxes could be triggered with it instead of lights.
I'd love to have the Haunted House in a Box, but thought this thing a low-cost option to play around with.
