I finally finished my new prop for this year. I've been thinking about how to use my styrofoam head that I had made earlier, but was getting nowhere... until I saw some things at a thrift store and click (light went on), my possessed little girl was born.

See how I made her: http://www.geocities.com/maureen_pr/...Possessed.html

Her eyes are a little too bright, so I might place a filter in front of the LEDs to dim them a bit. Please give me any critism you might have, I want to hear it all. Thanks!!

    That's awesome M!
My only critique would be weather, distress and weather again.
She's just way too clean. (the dress and the doll) I'd dirty up the dress and take a torch to the doll, but that's just me

I'm with Dusza, she looks great, but she might be a bit pristene. Depending on how far you want to go......she could probably use some black goth look "make-up" around her eyes which will make her look more evil, acrylic paint works well. A lighter skin color, get rid of the pink. Bluish/purplish lips. Maybe some snot running from her nose, clear nail polish will do the trick. Very faint blue lines around her temples and neck for veins. Just a suggestion.

I was thinking of doing that, giving the doll straight black hair, white skin, dark lips and darken (dirty) the clothes a bit. Hubby was the one that said I should leave the doll as is. But I think I'll take her to the next level.

I think he meant for the prop to make the dress and doll look dirty and aged.
But I could use some coffee !!!

    LOL, That got a chuckle...

I'll have to give that a try. Coffe would dirty it up more than just dirt and water. I didn't even think of it being that none of us drink coffee. McDonalds here I come.
