Good idea mdawson8931. I took the cover off. If I bypass the circuit board by connecting to the two points pictured in the photo below, the motor powers up and turns normally. Many thanks.

I had trouble getting a wipermotor I had to run until I relized they aren't grounded. I hooked a ground wire to the case and then it ran fine. You usually can hook the hot wire then to any terminal. This is on the older wipermotors. Not sure about the new ones.

I've been planning to use wiper motors for two of my props this year, and had planned to buy from Monster Guts, but now it seems they are no longer available due to a burst water line...
Can anyone make a suggestion where to buy a motor inexpensively? All but a few of the motors I find have no easy way to attach a prop to the shaft, and I really don't want to have to mess with the motor shaft.
AllElectronics has a motor (DCM-249) which seems viable, but the reviews say the newer models are not reversible without override the circuitry. I wonder how hard it would be to override? Would anyone recommend trying the DCM-325 from the same site?
