You see, we live in a world where customer service has gone the way of the dinasaur. Not so with Lubatti Design. Not in my experience. I first emailed Erich about what I was looking for and what I was hoping to do. He replied and then sent me a quoted price. Meanwhile, Erich must have been thinking about my sons project, and he came up with an idea that was more than helpful to me and my son. He emailed me about it and I was very greatful. I wont go into details about what he did for us, but lets just say that I've been looking for a good mask producer to use exclusively for my projects. I got an email from Erich today with a tracking number. If the mask is anywhere as good as the service I got, I just might have found my guy.
Just thought I'd post this, as we often rant when a company sucks (think harbor freight tools) but I wanted to let you prop builders know that there are still people out there that are a pleasure to do business with.
Interesting, because I have had horrible customer service/response from the same person. I am one of (if not the biggest) THE BURNING fans I know. Love the movie. I do a fanzine called Cropsy's Crypt and for Halloween I planned a promotion where I was going to visit various bars/coffee shops dressed as Cropsy and hand out free editions of the fanzine I work on.

Erich has the Cropsy (Torched) mask on the front page of his website. I ordered said mask via paypal and after 6 weeks contacted him, inquiring when I should expect the mask. He replied that the mask is being completed and I would be given a tracking number when it is shipped. 10 weeks after ordering the mask and I still haven't gotten a tracking number and Erich hasn't replied to an email since.

Not sure what the difficulties on his end are but now my fanzine promotion is on the rocks, my Halloween is in danger of being partially disappointing because I can't get the mask I really, REALLY wanted. I can't even convey how happy I would be to get this thing, but without responses from him I have no way of knowing when/if I ever will! And I could be looking at being out 125 bucks over this thing.

So perhaps he let his customer service go the way of the dinosaur as well. If anybody has any info on Erich, like how to contact him by phone or mail, I'd appreciate it. I just want to know what's going on with this thing!

If you paid thru PAYPAL you can get his phone number from them . You can also put in a ITEM NOT RECEIVED complaint against him and then he WILL be forced to either refund your monies , or send the purchased item .
( PAYPAL does have its good sides , BUT , it sure as HELL has it BAD , equally as well )
If your scared , I am the cause AND the reason !

I don't believe paypal addresses transactions that have happened over 45 days. As the website says to wait 6 to 8 weeks for delivery this seems out of scope to what paypal's legal services can do. I'm sure that they won't refund my money automatically. Something similar happened to me over a movie purchase. They wouldn't address any transaction over 45 days old. Seems like a crazy policy when the business states off the bat that it takes 6 to 8 weeks to deliver something! It also doesn't list his number.

I have found a website that is used to issue criminal complaints against cyber crimes, such as failing to deliver goods and reports it to whatever local police department is by him. Not sure if I want to report him quite yet, as I DO want the mask above everything else. I just don't see my money coming back any time soon the way things are going. I checked his myspace and he hadn't logged in since last month. I'd hate to smear his reputation if something unfortunate and out of his control happened to him.
