I've been working on a concept for using my Big Scream Crystal Ball DVD. I would like to create a "Fortune Teller Machine" cabinet to set up with the DVD for next year inspired by the "machines" at this link http://www.thehorrordome.com/HDSHOPP...UNETELLERS.htm

I've started sketching a concept. My idea so far includes a tufted red velevte backdrop, clusters of skulls at the corrners, and an enclosed cabinet at the bottom to hold the television and speakers. The crystal ball would sit on a glass shelf above the television with a piece of plexi in front of it.

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and ideas, building on the concept I have going on.

Here's a link to my sketch:

boyjim, I bought lots of the Big Scream stuff last year when it was 75% off from Spencers. I wanted to use it for our party this year but just didn't have the time. I wanted to fix up something similar to your drawing but I was going to use it in the bathroom. You can listen to your fortune, while you take care of business. Your drawing looks like a good idea. Will it be part of your haunt? I made some nice skulls using plaster of paris and a small plastic skull that held candy. They were flat on the back. Might be a good way to make your clusters of skulls.

    anyone remember PeeWee's play house?
he had a genie head in a cabinet
was thinking of doing something like that but instead
I'm building a three panel wall to wrap around
the TV set and then cut a hole for the image to
be seen through, either to look like a window out
or a picture/mirror frame, instead of the crystal ball look
