Default Bag o Bones

I bought a big bag of bones from Buck's Boneyard. Are there any props that I can build with these?

I guess it depends on what you have in the bag. If you got a bunch of odds and ends you might try staining them a bit and put them in a large bowl. Have a smaller bowl in the center with hot water and a bit of dry ice and you got a 'boiling' bowl of bones. Make a cool looking center piece for a Halloween party.
Some folks use them in a 'wall of pain'. Use spray foam on a piece of plywood to make a bumpy squiggly background and before the foam hardens place the bones around. Depending on the look you want I've seen this done to look like a wall of blood using bright red high gloss paint. Also as a wall of rot by staining the bones and using grays, greens and browns on the foam. They both look good.
You could make a fountain with them. Attach them to tombstones in patterns. Even put them in a pile with some of those large rats.

I bought some too and plan on using them in the site where I have an insane chef that is barbqing Lord knows what this year. I am going to lay them around, bloody a few, make it look like he has quiet a collection going. I don't know what I could build with some as far as a prop. I think I may take Putrid's advise and stain some and put in my graveyard.

The current bags of bones come uniform in contents. Not like the random assortment you used to get. I think the question here is what CAN'T you build with them. You can make a clothed corpse with some rips in the fabric with bones showing through. You can put the skull and hands on a PVC frame, cover it with a shroud with only the hands, skull exposed, and it looks like a full skeleton underneath. I've also used them under werewolves as if they've been gnawed on. The imagination is the only limit with these.

Really? Last time I got bones it was ribs, ribs, and vertebra. What do you get now?

That is a good idea. Do you have any pictures Vlad? I saw a prop where someone made a sculpture out of a bunch of bones. I don't know where I saw it but that would be a good idea.

As for randyaz, what you said is what I got. I got the same thing as you.

I've seen pics from one guy that got bones and big globs of plastic. They looked like oversized white Hershey's kisses. Glad to hear no one's got those.

As far as I know, everyone who's bought any from ACC since Transworld, has received a bucky skull, two hands, two femurs, two pelvic bones and some other assorted ribs, vertebrae etc.. But the two bags I bought were identical in contents, and matched what I've heard others have received. This is what ACC says will be in the large bag of bones, and it's exactly what I reveived.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Item BONES1 contains approximately 10 pounds of assorted 4th quality bones. This bag contains life-size skull, humerus, hand (on wire), hip bone and sacrum (tail bone). Also contains a foot, lower jaw, clavicle, ribs, vertebrae, arm and leg bones in various sizes from life-size to mini."

They must have listened to the complaints, and fixed the problem.

I had to write Marylin after recieving my "bag of scraps that don't even slightly resemble bones" a couple years ago. I haven't bought a bag since, but I may have to pick up a couple if there are actually bones in the bags now.

That had been my only problem with ACC.
They do have a reputation for listening to the customers! They brought back the discontinued torso after many people asked for it.
