No clue, Our house is free, so marketing it won't help. Prop ideas can be found for free on the internet, with pretty detailed instructions on how to make them.

Local stores donate a few odds and ends.

And this year we are moving (well my brother is), so we can start at the basics and work our way up again, new audience and all that.

Well, I have no idea either if this kit is worth it but, if you're planning on going pro or if you plan to go big and want better ideas on how to promote your haunt then, why not. It's only about $30 and you get a full year, money back guarantee. There just may be a few things in there that a few of us have not yet seen. Maybe.

If you do get it, let us know what it's like. I was kinda wondering about getting it myself.

ArtVan. There is a wealth of information you can get right here. We have yard and pro haunters that are members of this forum. But if you do get it please let us know if there's anything useful on it. And what it is. LOL

I have the book, "How to Operate A Financially Successful Haunted House". I personally did not get any value from it. The room ideas were antiquated. The marketing ideas and operations were more geared towards a non-profit and still too vague for today's market. The free brochures and tickets were applicable maybe 20 years ago, but not now with computer technology.

It could be that I'm just a hard critic, that's my two cents. I got a lot more useful, practical information from Leonard Pickel's first book.
