Default Has anyone done one of these?

Have any of you guys attempted one of these? I am currently working on one and would like to know your experiences.

Default Don't think I could....

Their skeleton is so detailed I don't think I COULD make such a thing. My "easier way out" would be to make a "Monster Flyer" and use something like a Bucky. It is essentially a heavy duty FCG platform. I haven't actually tried it yet (but plan to make the attempt this summer) so I can't really add much detail.
Not very helpful, I'm afraid.....

Very cool but very ambitious project. Looks like it would demand quite a bit of artistic skill. Having a Bucky as a model would definately be a help.

That would blow my patience away! But it looks cool. My first attempt with working with the pink foam is to make some tombstoens and a wall. What you are embarking on would send me into a bell tower with a high powered rifle. Or I would wimp out and use a Bucky or a Bart skeleton.

BUT! Best of luck to you.

What a cool looking prop! I wonder how many years it took to make. LOL Even if I was that talented I don't think I could do it.
That's a lot of work for something made out of easily damaged materials. I wonder how they store it?

That prop can do nothing but fill you with inspiration. Not to mention drive you batty. Amazing work. This is something I can see attempting but it would be much further down the line. When I run across a prop like this I copy the web pages to a CD. That way when inspiration hits me I have the info stored and I dont risk loosing it to web sites that dissappear or from me just not being able to find them again. Thanks for posting this Nickirish. Its great work.

I thought it looked amazing. I am done with everything but the ribcage and the fingers. It took me a solid two weeks to get everything else done. The most tedious (sp?) was the spine. I didn't have a bucky to go by so I just used the pics. I will post some pics as soon as I get a chance. In no way does mine look as cool as theirs but it will work in the dark.

Very cool prop that obiviously requires some skills but it is an awesome look, specially when the wings are added. Good luck if you try

I've looked at that site and said to myself no way. It looks awesome, and I'm sure it's do-able, but there's no way I would invest the time in it.
