Default Buried Alive Coffin - Almost done

This is a pic of my Buried Alive coffin from www.ourhaunt.com. The directions were pretty easy (thank you, thank you). I started it, but hubby finished the construction. I did the burning and the paint and the hands (which arent' positioned right yet). Hubby's been very cooperative and I'm not going to argue with that.

I'm adding a security light sensor that will run a blue floodlight from the inside (why the boards are spaced so far aparts) and my husband's working on a motor to make it "thump". Someone just gave him a whole crate of motors so he's trying them all out. And.... coming up with some ideas of his own for them. Just knock me over!!! It's really nice to have the help and input. And I think the coffin came out great. Plus I'm excited to have one more thing done!!!! It'll look great next to the crypt.

WOW !! Looks great, Pandora. Those skeleton hands coming out look really good. I wish I had the room to store a prop that big. That will really be a hit on Halloween. Are you going to add sound too?

It's wonderful! I love the aged look of the wood and the skeletal hands.

Looks kick ass! I did one of these last year too, but added a green flood light inside and used a fogger to pump fog out the cracks. I didn't paint mine, but did burn it. I love the washed-out grey color yours is and the hands look good coming out of it. I almost put a bucky torso in mine, but was worried that small detail would be lost in the dark and go unnoticed by the viewer.

Here's a few pics of mine:

In the Cemetery

This is a really easy project and looks very good when it's done. I reommend eveyone tries to build one.

Then as someone is looking too closely at your coffin tell them to watch out for " Killer-Albino worms that devour all flesh, living or dead!"
They will often scream as the terrible Albino worm pokes it's head out of a knot hole near them, of course you are on friendly terms with it, since it is one of your own fingers!
Yes, I have done this many times to people, with good reactions.
"Scary" doesn't have to expensive or waiting somewhere for you to buy it.
