Anyone out there know how to identify re-recordable digital players, specifically, can I change the Mooo cow sound on that little flying ghost?

I believe those are not recordable, but stranger things have happened. it would require a more expensive circuit to be recordable, and if they were to go to the extra expense you can be sure they'd tell you in order to boost the products saleability.
