i made the tombstones last year, ten of them. they are my friends, family, and girlfriend, their first name then a nick name. this year i found the easiest and most natural way to make them look weatherd. sounds gross but spit on them, gets some dirt in your hand, and wipe straight down! it covers up any actual pokes or rips in the styrofoam =D

it's finally finished. the motor is from a EXCELENT store here in orlando florida call skyscraft surplus. the motor was only $4.95!!!! and as you can see it works great. luckily for you all the have an internet store. here's the link to the same motor i usedhttp://www.skycraftsurplus.com/index...ROD&ProdID=405

and here are some close up pics of the motor and shaft which was just a screw rod. makes it insanely adjustable.




made it really nice to not have to worry about a u bolt. and the couter weight give it a foward and back movement as you can see that makes it look like it's about to come out the window at you! it's great! and the weight itself is the book based on doom. i thought it was very halloweeny, and it's suprisingly a very good read. there 4 in all.

tonight i'll see if i can take another video to show it true creepyness. might be hard not being able to use a flash. if not i know i can take some nice pics.

i had a group of six kids around the house on the first night of test 2 nights ago. they couldn't believe what they were seeing. they said it was incredble awsome and kept pointing and jsut sat there on their bike jaw dropped! one kid said, "it looks like a guy in a suit, but where are the legs. man thats creepy!" felt so good!

looks good, glad to finaly be able to see it. Are there LED's for eyes, and are you running it from a PC power supply? Very handy, using what you have....
