Default Misting Cauldron?

Does anyone know of any stores (online or local) that carry a misting cauldron?

Spirit or Spencers carries one. A bit pricey. If you can rig up your own cauldron, you can buy a small LED lit mister for about 25.00. They're only good for indoor applications as the slightest breeze will disperse the fog.
I've used dry ice for the pst fw years and while effective is too expensive. I'm also looking for a really good method to have a smoking cauldron that will run for the two hours of TOT outside.

Those misters won't fill up a cauldron unless it's very small. But if you don't mind spending considerably more, they also make misters that have mltiple elements in them. Up to 8 that i've seen. so with that you'd have the output of 8 misters in one unit. Very very expensive tho. The ones that have 3 or 4 elements might be reasonable, tho it's been a year since i researched them. I think the 3 in one mister is around $100, but don't quote me. Do a google search and you'll find a ton of em.

I was going to just do the fog chiller with the 10 foot PVC but bought a large cauldron the other day and drilled a hole in it and ran the PVC to it and it works very well. I also am going to fill the cauldron with ice and put green glow sticks in it to lite it and during the test the other day it did well without the ice in it as the fog stayed inside the cauldron and then spilled over the sides. Here is a link where I got the info for doing this with a cauldron:

Wait! the pond mister will fill a cauldron and more, if you constantly check that the water is boiling. If the water is boiling then the fog will rise way above the cauldron.

sincerly,
Phantom.

Hmmm.....i've seen a few of those misters in action, one of them inside a cauldron. None of them put out much, and the mist in the cauldron didn't even make it up 1/2 of the way to the top. I'm not doubting you, but maybe you bought a certain brand thats a lot better. I can't figure out why, but the ones i've seen weren't anywhere near good enough to fill a normal sized cauldron. (say about 16" high)
