I live in Los Angeles and we have 99 cents stores. They have mask that have the lights in them and I use those. I also found a pack of 8 glass with eyes and just remove the frame and keep the eye socket.

I notice in that one diagram that the resistor is wired in between the two LED lights. I was looking at another diagram posted somewhere else and the resister was before the two LED lights between the first light and the positive feed from the 9 volt battery.

I am hoping to put lights in my FCG head tomorrow. Does it matter if the resister is before or between the two LED lights?

i noticed the same thing. on the ones i made, i put the resistor before the leds, and it works fine.

When I put my first LED circuit together a few years ago I put the resistor in the circuit AFTER the LEDs and it worked fine. But since then I always put the resistor BETWEEN the two LEDs. So if you haven't made it yet I would put it between the LEDs, but it should work either way.

My husband decided to dabble in this! LOL He used a resistor in between 2 leds and they work, so far! I also now have a nice mark in my carpet from the solder gun...never again!!! Thanks to everybody who helped me out on this, I truly appreciate it!

As long as everything is wired in series then it won't matter where the resistor is. You could even split your resistance value in thirds and wire it as (+)-R-LED-R-LED-R-(-). (for illustration only, don't actually build that silly circuit :-D)
