When I went to Home Depot to purchase Plexi, I tested it out there and found that if I were to hold it at a 45 degree angel, the plexi would bow.

What thickness plexi are you using and how big? To make the effect at my house work, we need the full 3x7 foot sheet of plexi.

SKYPP I worried about that as well. If the plexi your using is long or thin I suggest you drill 2 very small holes in the center and feed a piece of fishing line through. You can then attach the line to the ceiling(adjust as needed) giving your plexi center support. If you use small holes and thin line you shouldn't harm the effect any.
I'm not exactly sure what the measurements are for my piece of Plexi, maybe 1 1/2 x 3?. I bought it at LOWES for around $10. I'll get back to you on a later post. Sorry I'm at work right now.

Ok SKYPP..The plexi I have is 18"X24" and about 1/16 thick. I've had it hanging for at least 5 days with no noticable bowing.

Thanks, Slimer! Seems to me I have to re work some measurements for my plexi to see if I an get away with a smaller piece and a few more lengths of fishing line.

I am stealing the plastic out of a poster frame to set up mine. And I bought the ghost last night, my husband is going to "scarify" it as we do not do cute around here....
