Default Gemmy Fogmaker

I used my %50 coupon at Michaels to score a Gemmy fogmachine for $15.00! Not sure where I'll use it, but come on, 15 BUCKS!

I went into Michaels with my 50% off coupon yesterday to pick up one of those fog machines. The shelves had been emptied. The funny thing was the clerk told me they had not gotten any in yet. Hmmm. There were at least a dozen there last weekend. Methinks that they did not want to sell those units for $15 each so they removed them before the sale...

i got one of those too yesterday only a 200 watt but what do you expect for that price... problem is they were out of fog fluid at the time so i can't test the thing *sigh*... would it permently damage it if i put a small amount of tap watter in it to test it?

200 watts?! I have a Gemmy that looks like that but is 400 watts. I wonder if they have a couple models that are both called the fog machine with different wattage. Maybe thats why they're 15 bucks. I paid $30.

I need to get another fog machine so we have two. I checked those at Michael's out but I noticed they were only 200 watt and only 1900 or 1950 cu.ft. per second. The one I have came from Party City and it's 700w with an output of 2500. I think I'll just go ahead, for the same money, and get another one from Party City--whenever the heck they decide to put them out--they said a couple of weeks.

I have 2 of the Gemmy 700w ones---got them last year after Halloween. I'm wondering if I need a 3rd for my yard haunt. Is there such a thing as "too much fog"?

We were thinking about using our 50% off coupon on another fog machine, too. But, at our Michael's...the Gemmy was only 200 watts and it didn't have the timer included. We were lucky enough last year to buy a Gemmy 400 watt fog machine with the timer...for only $15 at a local grocery store...prior to Halloween. If we would have been smarter....we would have bought at least 3 fog machines at that price. Of course, we went back to the same store this year...and they don't have them out yet...or they may not be carrying the fog machines anymore.
