I just finished making some molds and I was wondering what is the best stuff to put in the molds [?][?]

Hi Jason, the only thing I have ever cast was plaster of paris. I know that some folks have made molds and filled them with Great Stuff but the mold has to be sturdy and air-tight for that to work. What are your molds made from...plaster or latex?

Oh Oh..It's the Vlad-blackwidow mutual admiration society.LOL Jason are the molds are just plaster? No latex inner mold? If not you can use latex to make the casting,that won't stick to anything. Great stuff foam sticks to everything but latex and silicone. There are various resins available.You are probably going to need some heavy duty release agents applied to the insides of the molds for anything but latex and silicone.Some release agents will be hard to get off the casting.How did you make these molds and what are they molds of.Are they 1,2 or 3 or more piece molds?

I was at a yard sale and I found a foam skelton plaque that can be used to make fog come out of the mouth but I wanted 3 more so I bought a bag of plaster i covered the skelton plaque with petroleum jelly and put the mixed plaster over the the plaque the next day the skelton plaque came out without a problem and it left a perfect mold of the plaque
