SouthernBelle, I really, really think you should try your hand at sewing--it might open up a whole new world of Halloween for you. You got the fabric, you got the machine. Read the machine's directions on how to thread it and the bobbin, and then some simple straight stitches, then practice on some scrap material. The patterns usually have really good directions. If you don't want to try the robe yourself, maybe the person you know would do it since it isn't form-fitting clothing to wear in the real world. I don't sew my clothing but wouldn't hesitate to make costumes. They don't have to be perfect! Don't limit yourself!!!!

I agree with Cinders...I had emailed SouthernBelle and offered to sew her a robe but I think it would be great if she gave it a try. To me, sewing has always been a great stress-reliever...I must've had a lot of stress last year cause I made two quilts for Christmas gifts

You emailed me? Really? Hmmm, I never got anything. :-(
