Where does everyone get their flat black paint from. I've found tons of pre-mixed gloss black but can't find the flat anywhere, and I've got alot of painting to do.

Wal-mart's cheap "colorplace" paint by the gallon is around $11.00 a gallon...that's the semi-gloss price, the flat paint may be cheaper. They will mix up whatever color you want. The flat black spray paint is only .97 a can.

Get int paint it's a couple dollars cheaper and if you think you'll need 5 gallons get a 5 gallon bucket. You'll save another dollar a gallon. Wal Mart int,5 gal bucket should be around 35 dollars. They will more than likely have to mix it but it wont cost any more.

BTW, get redwood stain(6 dollars a gal..lowes or wal mart), for blood for a fountain or to make blood spots on sheets. You can mix the stain with a few gals of water and it'll still give you a good blood color. I never had any problems running it through a pump.

For painting interior walls do you think simi gloss will work o.k. or should I stick with flat ?
I like the idea of the stain, I've been wondering what color red paints would look best for blood stains.

Depends...are you talking about painting a haunt's walls? I think flat would be better for that since it doesn't have a shine. I never use flat paint in my house because you can't clean it. Semi-gloss is tougher and you can wipe the walls down if they get marked up or dirty.

Yea I was thinking that I sould use the flat as it is for the haunt walls. Guess I'm off to the paint store to pick up some flat!
