Default Oscillating fans...

Any ideas for oscillating fans/motors other than rotating a head from side to side?

Tim,

I have used them to work the entire upper body of creatures as well as just the heads. They aren't the strongest motors that's for sure. I always mount the motor to a wooden or metal frame work and go from there. Used one once to raise the arms of a prop up and down. You have to build a very light load for that though...

On the monster list there are instructions to make a cheap FCG with one. You can make a ghost or two rise up and down with some pullies. And with the fan still attached you can have them blowing too.

If you want a saw blade to come towards people you could mount a cardboard blade to the fan.
