does anyone know how to clean the disc on the ultrasonic misters? i read that if you clean it, more fog will appear.

Do a search on google for them. I saw a few places selling them that mentioned how to clean them, tho i forgot. They say every so many hours you should clean or replace depending on whether cleaning brings them back to normal. I'll tell you this tho...i looked at them at a few stores that had them running and they don't put out much at all. Maybe enough to fill a 5" cauldren at most. I saw one in a cauldren about 1 and 1/2 times the size of a basketball and it just made a tiny bit of fog at the bottom. They do make them with 3 and 5 discs tho. Those should make quite a bit more fog, but they cost quite a lot.
