ok, i bought a fx fog machine 2 years ago and have only used it for halloween. i have treated it well yet this year, it leaks fog juice out of the bottom. i still have the box and want to take it back but there is a catch.. there is always a catch.. i bought it at a kmart and they dont sell foggers anymore and i doubt that they would take it back. is there any other store that i can take it back to that will just give me another one?

Zombie, If your comfortable taking things apart, do so. Remember to unplug it first(common sense I know, but you'd be suprised) A fogger is a simple machine really, chances are where the fluid pump connects to the copper tubing is where your leak is. Tighten that connection if thats the cause and your set. The other area that could be causing it is where the pump connects to the fluid tank, its a rubber gasket that could have developed a crack. If the fogger is leaking when NOT in operation its probaly the gasket. Since foggers are less then $30 at walmart, target, etc... You may just opt for a new one.

Liemavick is right......they ARE very simple and it would almost certainly be easy to fix. Theres always a chance it could be something more catistrophic, but thats VERY unlikely. The juice just goes from the tank into the pump and into the heater. All you have to do is open one side and look to see where the leak is. Then just tighten a clamp or whatever is needed. If a hose is cracked, cut it at the crack and put the re-newed end back on is theres enough slack. Or get a new tube. (pet shops are one place to find clear plastic tubing) It's really very simple and common sense will guide you thru it. And since it's not working you have nothing to lose and everything to gain !
