There is one with wire, that you wrap tiny pieces of duct tape inside out (so you can stick cotton to it) for knuckles, and then cover with latex that might be on the monster list. There is another that used masking tape over wire (no paper mache), that was (I think) on this site under "some props I've made" or something like that. Can't say for sure where I've seen anything anymore. Both looked good and the wire frame from the latex one would certainly make a good skellie hand even without the flesh.

Dave at Lothar's Lair did some skeleton hands using wire and packing peanuts. It might give you some ideas.

Eric at Vile Things also has some good looking hands.

I made some hands this year for a grim reaper out of wire and gauze. I shaped hands out of the wire. Then used newspaper and duct tape to give the hands and fingers a little girth. Then I mixed elmers glue, water and white latex paint. I soaked the gauze in the mixture and placed them onto the hands. The duct tape is a cloth tape so it took well. I made sure I gave the hands some details with the gauze. The final result looked good. I spray painted the hands very lightly with black spray paint just to "dirty" them up a bit.
The only problem I ran into with this process was the fact that they were pretty heavy. Fortunatly the bend from the weight makes them look a little more realistic.

I made some by using a metal coat hanger, sliding the white covers from the cheap pens you by at Office Max, and then covering them with paper mache and snot rag. Here is a pic of them.
