take a look at the specs of the "new" fogger and if they are close to the lite f/x fogger, then I would go with the new fogger. In my opinon, you can never have too many foggers. I was faced with the same question and found that the another fogger would work great

agree, as long as the other fogger is 700w then I would get the new fogger.

I'd first check out the timer before making any decision. Some timers are not very adjustable and may be next to worthless to you. I bought one that was worthless unless i wanted the perticular settings it afforded, which were worthless to me. I built one and now can set it exactly as i need. Make sure it has settings for burst time and interval time between bursts. Even then it may not suit you if either knob doesn't go as long or short as you need. This is what i like about the one i built....i can change a simple capacitor for either burst or interval time to customise it to be as long or short as i want. Just make sure the timer isn't just one of those that has only 3 presets or one knob that adjusts both times at once.

You can go to Walmart and buy a Gemmy timer for like $8. It works just fine in the Lite F/X foggers.

And while we are on the subject of foggers...Is it possible to over heat the blower motor in my fogger if I left it run on a timer and the fog juice ran out. I did that the other night and now my fogger makes a really loud noise when I try to activate it and low and behold, no fog comes out (and yes, the fog juice reservoir is full).

There is no blower motor. The fog projects out from the force of the fog juice expanding as it is atomized by the heatig element. The motor your probably talking about is the pump that pumps the fluid into the heating element.

Yes you can damage it if it is run while empty for a long time. I don't know how long you ran it empty so I can't tell if it's the case with yours but it is a possibility.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I guess I knew that it was the pump, but my fingers did not type what my brain was thinking.
