    Default Jack in the box – 10-21-2003,01:57 PM


    We made a large jack in the box this year and would like to have the sound that a jack in the box makes while turning the crank for the prop. Does anyone know where I can get that sound (hopefully free)? I know the tune is Pop Goes the Weasel but I can only find childish versions of this. I would like the real sound a jack in the box makes or an eerie, spooky version of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Know anyone with a keyboard? Most have several different instrument sounds to choose from. Pick a scary instrument sound, maybe a pipe organ, and just play Pop Goes the Weasel by ear with one finger. If you can't figure it out, I would think the person who owns the keyboard could. Record it on a tape player, and there's you're music!
