I have not seen really anyone working in the medium of inflatable on this site. Has anyone designed or fabricated their own custom inflatable prop or inflatable costume?
I"m looking to design a large custom inflatable this year. Anyone good at pattern making and sewing?

Was a very simple conversion and i can't begin to tell you how much fun we had with it at halloween.

I remember when that was posted. That was so cool. I also remember when I first saw the inflatable I asked the wife about using it for our ghostbuster song but she refused. Then when that video came out I wished I had bought it because that was a neat and simple conversion.

I have never been a big inflatable decoration guy.....but I did like the stay puff marsh man....but passed as well. I would like to build a large inflatable for the front of the house and a few other creepy characters.....the storage breakdown is the appeal. Problem with most produced inflatables is they are cartoonish. I think it would be very interesting to fabricate custom inflatables, and wonder if anyone on the forum has attempted it?
