The video playing is from Hi-Rez Designs and called Nurse Escape. I can't figure out why it is called that since the nurses head gets bashed in. Doesn't look like she escapes :0A cheap dvd player was bought at walmart for under $30. The doorhandle is being activated by an electric solenoid rather than air/pneumatics. The solenoid at this time is being triggered by me as I am currently waitng on parts to build the decoder to activate the solenoid. This solenoid is different from what I used in the axe door that I made. I am trying out various ones.

I am using a 26 inch flat screen tv. I think Hi- Rez suggests something smaller like maybe a 22 or 24 inch but it is what I had laying around.

Maybe that girl is the decoy while the real nurse is escaping?
Looks excellent! I'd love to make that door and I would do it like you did--electrically instead of pneumatically.
