This may not work, but you can always duct tape a bunch of these two her back: http://www.amazon.com/BUMBLE-BALL-JR.../dp/B000MVVX4Y

Well the hand sander didn't do much.
It made allot of noise, but didn't move the prop much at all.
The prop I want to use it on is foam filled, so I won't have room for a WWM and off weight swingDoctor Grim

What about using one of those Haunted Hedge props? The ones with the eyes that light up and shake the bushes. They all operate with a motor and an off-set weight on the shaft. It's small and and should move the prop enough, I was going to use one to rattle the door in a pirate theme jail.

I rigged up a wiper motor, with counter weight. The motor was wired to high speed, and I used a 12V,5AMP power supply.
The RPM's are probably 50 which is about max for the motor I believe.
The problem is, it still too slow.
The best effect it may have is a slow tremor, not a fast shake.
I'm looking for DC motors that can operate at >300 RPM to try again. Any one have any ideas on what is available, suitable (and cheap), high RPM motor?
ThanksDoctor Grim

Surplus Center carries a lot of high RPM DC motors.
Like this one at 500 RPM:
