Thread: Need help, how to make flying ghosts that pop up behind tombstone

I'm new here and was reluctent to make an early post of mine, one that requrests help; but I've searched the forum, but I can't find what I'm looking for. It's probably there, but so many results pop up searching for ghosts, tombstones, cemetry, etc., that I'm likely passing right over it.

Anyway, I'd appreciate your help finding a "how to" on making small ghosts pop up behind a tombstone. I'm not looking for a FCG or a tombstone peeper. I recall seeing someone have ghosts that almost look like a tissue that pop up a foot or two above a tombstone, then float back down. I'm guessing it's done with a blast of air, but that's just a wild guess.

There is a DMX video with it. They used compressed air, tennis ball and cloth. Sorry I couldn't give you a link.

Ohhhhh... dangit... my son and I were just watching that video the other day! He squealed with laughter each time the ghosts popped up. Awesome display element. I'm trying to remember where I saw it. I hope you find out how to build it Joe!
