So I went to Jo-Ann to look for DAS to re-do Malachai. On the way on they had some bird houses on sale for 5.99. I saw one and it hit me right away my next project. I wanted an old lantern for Malachai to hold. I picked up the lantern and some metallic paint. I got some vellum with a cross pattern that I am going to use as glass panels. An led light on the inside and I am set. I had a coupon for 20% off all items including sale items, so all told, around $6.50. I should have it done this weekend hopefully, but here is the raw materials;

It was a quick build and I love the results. Tried to get a big picture of how the glow looks, but it is hard to capture the true look.
