    Maybe try painting him, paint can often make things pop.
    Also if you don't like the eye shape, it shouldn't be too hard to scrape away or add a bit of clay.
    He has great detail though.

    I'd paint it black then dry brush green over top of it. The textures and wrinkles might looks really good that way.

    I did go with the dry brush green. I still want to paint him with a gloss so he looks wet. I am thinking poly-acrylic? I also want to do something to make him look like he is drooling. Would I use hot glue? Not sure it would dry clear enough.

    See paint makes a big difference!
    Hot glue would work, so would various epoxies. Even if it dries cloudy or yellow, that's fine right? I mean who know what the drool of this creature is anyway.

    looks great!! Big thick drips of gloss varnish would give you a great drool effect. You can get it from any hobby store and it drys clear just like you want.
