I would say becuase she is a unique prop that fits most Haunters themes. I remember when she first came out, and I saw her on display with other life size Gemmy props, she just stood out from the rest. It was nice to see a mass produced prop that was different from everything else being made.

Now that she is no longer availible, many who have missed out are looking hard for her. I bought 2 versions of her when she came out. The first one, she was dressed in a white robe. The second, was dressed in a black robe holding a head and a knife. I bought that one from Spirit, and these days, its the hardest to find. I ended up selling the White Robed one on eBay in Sept of last year. I am keeping the Black Robe version

I really don't know as she was only around for one season.I don't think she was around for two but maybe she was.
She is a cool prop with very limited sale time=rare I guess.
I have one in the white used her the one season and haven't used her since.But would never part with her.

I still have and use the Donna the Dead floating ghost and the corpse prop in the Halloween graveyard. Still 2 of my favorites.

I've always wanted one but they cost so much and are hard to find. So I went with the black haired girl from Grandin Road last year.

I too considered buying both versions, I thought I'd wait until there was an end of season price, but I missed out.

I think the prop is popular due to it's vague resemblance to the girl from the move 'The Ring". The sound was spooky and the whole effect was creepy.

If it sold so well, I don't know why it was discontinued.

I bought mine at 75% off from Micheals a few years ago. I think it works because of the way the hair moves and it doesn't have that stupid hat they put on newer ones like the groom

Chaserbug, did you get "Haunting Hesla?" How do you like her.

I could KICK myself for not getting her. I got stuck with 3 damaged "Venetian Victorias". They kept coming to me damaged and I had to return them. ARRGH!

Tekky's rosemary is somewhat similar, although she's eating a brain. But in a scene, she has the same aura, let's say. The animation and height of her gives that same, very creepy and real-person look and feel to it.
