i always have admired pumpkin rots. my grandson has mentioned he would like to get involved in making some props. so i have suggested he make me a pumpkin rot. he asked...what's a pumpkin rot look like? he's all pumped up to do this. he's 15 so he should be able to pull something wicked off. anyone having a pumpkin rot they wouldn't mind posting for reference would be great.

As a matter of fact, here is the link to Pumpkin Rot's blog site. He's the original artist of the style (and a super talented individual), and no better reference there is, than here.

You'll find what you are looking for under the "Scarecrow" tab. Really though, you should peruse the collection. It's quite impressive! Have fun!

GhostTown built the most phenomenal Pumpkin Rot last year. Here's a link to the thread:
Our "Ode de Pumpkinrot"
It's a tutorial combined with a humorous narrative of the building process. You and your grandson should read through the entire post - it definitely inspired me to want to build one someday! Good luck!Little Partridge *inspired, handmade gifts for baby and family.

Looks great Trex! Hallorenescene, where did you think there were 21 pages? The "Ode to Pumpkinrot" thread had 21 pages (now 22 with some new posts)?
